Net Sales as of January 28, 2006 were $2,285,000,000, significantly higher than all other Limited Brands, except Victoria's Secret.
The Stores
There are 1,600 Bath & Body Works locations nationally, including seven outlet stores. Bath & Body Works stores are broken into three categories: Core, Side by Side, and Flagship. Core stores carry the most basic Bath & Body Works products along with selected White Barn Candle Company home fragrance products, Henri Bendel products, and C.O. Bigelow products. Side by Side stores are stores where a Bath & Body Works and White Barn Candle Company (BBW's home fragrance division) are connected and can be shopped together. Flagship stores carry extended lines as well as third-party brands and offer far more variety than either of the other two categories.
Bath & Body Works has made a conscious effort in the redirection of the way customers feel about personal care products and the stores from which they are purchased. Bath & Body Works centralizes upon their emphasis of nature, health, beauty, and well being as an apothecary type shop. Spa treatments, aromatherapy, and other products with botanical and natural ingredients line their shelves in order to attempt to adjust their customers' moods and make them feel \"pampered\". In addition, Bath & Body Works places emphasis on the customer experience. Bath & Body Works associates are trained to \"Make Your Customer's Day\" by delighting her with a pampering shopping experience and caring for the whole customer, not just her skin care needs.

The brands and products the stores carry are created or selected for their high quality ingredients and the noticeable effects they have on the customer.
